LET US
DESIGN A NETWORK FOR YOUR APPLICATION
NETWORK
THAT
WORKS IN THE REAL WORLD
In the world of network
design there is no substitute for real world
operating experience. There is no question
knowledge is king, but what makes up that knowledge base
is the real key to designing a reliable and cost
effective network. An engineer with
extensive theoretical knowledge but little or no
operating experience designs a network by the
numbers. He expects the network to work as the
math tells him it will with little or no regard for real
world factors. The technician with extensive
operating experience but little theoretical knowledge
relies on equipment vendors to gauge theoretical
performance, then typically over builds the network to
cover the unknowns; or worse yet, improperly builds the
network based on bits and pieces of engineering provided
by vendors for their piece of the puzzle. In the
three cases cited above, the chances are good that the
end result is a network that is unreliable in the real
world, cannot be operated by entry or medium level
operations personnel, or both; or, is over built, costs
far to much to operate and lacks long term growth
flexibility. In today's world of much tighter
capital budgets and the need to keep long term operating
costs to a minimum, it is essential that
"real" network design engineering is employed
before a penny is spent on network hardware or
implementation.
Employing AWTI network
design services typically reduces initial capital expenditures
and/or first year operating expenses by more than double
the fees paid to AWTI for design services. In
satellite or broadband network applications, the monies
spent on AWTI design services are typically recovered in
less than six to twelve months in reduced capacity
charges alone.
It pays to allow AWTI to design and engineer your network....
Raymond Rask and our other personnel have both the needed
extensive theoretical engineering expertise and
extensive network operating experience, both as a
service provider and as a client. We know what
makes a network work...!
Please take a few minutes
and click on the additional links at the top of this
page to see how AWTI can help with your specific network
application. If one of the links at the tope of
this page does not cover your application, please
contact us by phone or e-mail to discuss your
application, I am sure we can help you out.
